Dr. Lauren V. Wood, MD

Dr. Lauren V. Wood (“Dr. Lauren”) is a Guest Co-Host and invaluable contributor to “Tom The Bomb Sports Talk”, providing expert health advice as needed. An immunology expert with extensive experience in developing new treatments and vaccines for cancer and HIV/AIDS, Dr. Wood has had a distinguished career in medicine, having retired from both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the U.S. Public Health Service, and more recently as Chief Medical Officer for a biotechnology company. In addition to her medical expertise, she is also an ordained minister at Victory Christian Church International, demonstrating her deep commitment to faith. With her impressive medical background and passion for sports, Dr. Wood offers a unique perspective on health-related topics and brings a wealth of knowledge to the show.
